• This version is almost better than the original. LOVE the synth at 1.45! It's a shame they left it out on the short version, but maybe they hadn't come up with it by then.

• Out of ALL the artists over the years, Kim has definitely got the smoothest voice I have every heard. Mariah, Whitney, Christina, and all the other "singers" sound great and can do lots of things vocally but Kim is a rare singer that, while she may not can do all the fancy stuff, her voice is SO pleasant and just reels you in. All the screaming and high notes that other vocalists do get tiresome when listening to a whole CD but Kim never gets boring. A good glass of wine and a Kim Wilde CD.

• @krnvll hi, the synth is actually in the short version too (under the verse if I think about the same one), it's just covered up by other tracks. I agree though, it's one of the 12" versions that *really* succeeded in offering a more engaging "maxi" version of the song that already rocked in the first place.

  I bet they spent a lot of time&love making it and must have had fun in the process.
