    Aber irgendwie scheint die Funktion mit der SSL Verschlüsselung nicht zu funktionieren? Kann mir jemand helfen?

    wenn Du ssl nutzen willst, musst Du mindestens $ssl auf 1 setzen (s. Doku). Gffs. muss der Zielport auch noch geändert werden ($ipport , z. Zt. Standard smtp Port).

    Port 110 ist Standard POP3 Port. Damit holst Du Deine Mails ab.

    Was Du brauchst ist der Port für verschl. SMTP: Standard Port SMTPS ist 465 oder 587. Gffs. über Dos Kommando: telnet mailserver.bla.de 465 überprüfen, ob was auf Anfragen auf den Port für verschl. SMTP überhaupt reagiert. Bei keiner Reaktion gleicher Befehl, nur anstatt 465 die 587.

    Ansonsten musst Du Dich mit dem Betreiber des Mailservers auseinandersetzen, auf welchem Port verschl. SMTP läuft.
